Apply for a Grant
Gateway Fund supports 501(c)3 designated public non-profit organizations located and operating in Southwestern Pennsylvania that focus on STEM Education and Technical Workforce Development, Human Health and Wellness, and/or Environmental Stewardship. In 2025, Gateway Fund will support five chosen programs with a $10,000 grant.
Gateway Fund operates on an ongoing, annual basis, with a fixed timeline that begins with applications, and concludes with grantee reporting. Qualifying grantee organizations may be consecutively funded for up to 3 years.
Application Submission Begins
Our annual application acceptance schedule runs from September 1 - December 1.
Deadline for Grant Applications
Grant applications received after December 1 will be disqualified from consideration.
Grants Are Announced
Selected grantee organizations are notified.
Financial Distribution of Grants
Selected grantee organizations receive Gateway Fund grant funds.
Grantee Reports Due
Each respective grantee organization much submit its required reports to Gateway Fund on or by November 1.
